I know people want to jump the gun and say Cincinnati right away, but I think some teams have surpassed them. We will see how it shakes out throughout the season.
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Emeka Egbuka (rookie), Jalen McMillan
The Bucs claim the top spot due to elite depth, proven vets, and top rookie Egbuka joining the mix. Evans is still a mismatch, Godwin is superb, and explosive depth gives them unmatched firepower.
2. Philadelphia Eagles
A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson
Brown leads as arguably the NFL’s top outside receiver; Smith would start for any team; Dotson adds versatility and Goedert boosts from tight end. Coming off a Super Bowl win, their production and upside are elite.
3. Cincinnati Bengals
Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins
Chase was the 2024 league leader in receptions, yards, and TDs; Higgins is among top WR2s. Depth is thinner post-Tyler Boyd, but their starting pair remains one of the most feared in football.
4. Minnesota Vikings
Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison
Jefferson is at or near the top of every WR list (despite battling a mild hamstring strain this camp). Addison is developing quickly, and TE Hockenson rounds out this explosive pass attack.
5. Detroit Lions
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Tim Patrick, Kalif Raymond
St. Brown’s elite reliability and Williams’ dynamic speed make this group tough to defend. Patrick and Raymond add experience and depth, with LaPorta starring at tight end.
6. Houston Texans
Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Christian Kirk, Jayden Higgins
Deepest and most versatile group in team history—Collins are breakout stars, Kirk adds vet presence, Higgins is a talented rookie. Only concern is injuries and Dell’s return.
7. Dallas Cowboys
CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert
Lamb is elite; Pickens adds explosive plays after joining from the Steelers. Tolbert is reliable and Ferguson helps at TE.
8. Los Angeles Rams
Davante Adams, Puka Nacua
Rams made a splash by signing Davante Adams, immediately boosting their WR corps after Cooper Kupp’s release. Adams is still one of the best “X” receivers in football; Nacua is ascending after his huge rookie year.
9. Kansas City Chiefs
Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Marquise Brown
Rice returns from injury and off-field issues (facing possible suspension), but when available, he and blazing-fast rookie Worthy are dangerous. Hollywood Brown adds experience.
10. San Francisco 49ers
Brandon Aiyuk, Ricky Pearsall, Juan Jennings
Aiyuk is coming back from ACL/MCL tear, so some regression is expected. Brock Purdy will raise this group.
Other Notable Groups
Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle – still a top duo, but Hill's numbers plateaued last year. Kade I know this is too low.
New York Jets: Garrett Wilson, Josh Reynolds – Wilson is a premier young WR.
Atlanta Falcons: Drake London, Darnell Mooney (nursing shoulder injury), Ray-Ray McCloud – potential is there, but injuries and inconsistency have limited ceiling.
Lower Tiers: Injury or Depth Concerns
Giants: Malik Nabers (rising), Slayton, Robinson – unproven outside Nabers.
New England Patriots: Stefon Diggs (new signing, injury risk), thin depth.
Chargers: Josh Palmer, Quentin Johnston – weakest overall due to roster turnover.
